The installation piece ’Circuits’ literally deals with the theme of ‘liquid architecture’. The past, future and present transformations of the (exhibition)space were drawn by using thin plastic pipes, thus reconstructing former and possible walls, staircases, windows, doors... Central in the space is a big aquarium from which water is being pumped into the pipes. They form a closed circuit of running water, emptying itself in the aquarium again as a fontain. Because of deliberately made leakages in the circuit some of the doors or walls are literally visualized by dripping water. An ever expanding puddle of water forms on the floor…
